The Museum of Prehistoric Thera houses finds from the excavations at Akrtotiri, Potamos and rescue excavations at various other sites on the island. Its collection includes items from the heyday of the Cycladic civilization – pottery, sculptures as well as numerous masterpieces of wall-painting from Prehistoric Thera.
