About the event
The 37th international festival “Sofia musical weeks” is dedicated to the 250th anniversary from the birth of the Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and to the 100th anniversary from the birth of Shostakovitch. Six of the concerts in the programme are worlks created by the famous composers. The traditional cycle “Stage of the young performer” will unite three of the concerts in the festival programme, including 23 events.
