About the event
The first Samothraki World Music Festival took place at the municipality camping of Samothraki. It started on the 21st of July and lasted till the 24th. The magic of the island, the full moon and the vibe of the visitors helped for the realization of the festival.
Artists and visitors coming from several Mediterranean and European countries had the chance to learn about ecology and at the same time enjoy themselves during these four days. The audience could attend happenings in two stages, music seminars, video projections, photography exhibitions concerning environmental issues and get informed about genetically manipulated products and ecology in general.
Events such as music concerts, dance performances and painting exhibitions are held in different venues around the Sani Resort from July to September every year.
