The partial excavations in Banja until now reveal a well preserved floor and wall hypocaust heating system, ten rooms with up to 7m high walls, parts of a roof structure with complete heating and ventilation systems, six very well preserved pools and bathtubs of various depth and dimension, partially preserved façade decoration. Besides its exceptional archaeological and architectural significance due to the uniqueness in terms of typology, chronology and extent of the excavated remains, the monument situated at the junction of three borders, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Bulgaria and Greece, on the foothill of the Belasica Mountain is also of great importance for the development of the region.
