The complex of Pertev Pasha (1579) in Izmit is build by the famous architect Sinan who has introduced a different concept in urban design method. In this complex all the buildings – the mosque, caravansarai, public baths, and school are individual buildings that is to say independent of each other. Every building has it own direction and their direction is decided rather free as a conglomeration of buildings.
