Erected between 1380 and 1386, the church belongs to the Balkanic longitudinal nave type. The nave (4,30 x 10.90) is completed with the altar apse of smaller width, as the two North and South apses placed in its vicinity. The roof covers directly the exterior of the inner barrel vaults. The exterior decoration comprises brick arcades and small terracotta discs. Later in the 18th century an exonarthex under a bell tower was erected towards the West, replacing an earlier open porch.
